ePUMP-FLO™ offers functionality and a number of powerful features based on the seller’s specific needs for online pump selection. Regardless of your budget limits, we have a solution to meet your company’s online pump selection needs. The following technologies highlight the main features offered by the ePUMP-FLO program. |
» Advanced Pump Selection Engine
Powering ePUMP-FLO’s hydraulic pump selection capabilities is the industry standard PUMP-FLO™ software. This technology is far superior to any program on the market today based on its ease of use, speed of calculations and dynamic pump curves |
The hydraulic pump selection software provides pump buyers with the information they need for accurate and efficient pump selection. This can be as simple as entering the pump types, speed, and design points of head and flow. After the buyers specifications are entered, PUMP-FLO.com™ uses the ePUMP-FLO search engine and the Manufacturer’s eCatalog (electronic catalog) to find a list of pumps meeting the buyer's specified needs. The buyer finishes the pump selection process by choosing their desired pump, and ePUMP-FLO then displays a customized pump curve. |
» Private Access Link
We realize that your Website is one of the most important elements to your marketing strategy, and many times your introduction to your customer. Your company has probably spent thousands of dollars on a Website full of rich content and flashy graphics. So, the next logical step is to provide your customers with online pump selection. |
The ePUMP-FLO Private Access Link is the technology that gives your customers access to pump selection from your company’s Website. The Private Access Link creates a seamless transition from your company’s Website to your privately branded eStorefront on PUMP-FLO.com. From your eStorefront customers can then access your eCatalog for online pump selection. |
» eStorefront
An eStorefront offers manufacturers a privately branded, customized, mini-Website to showcase company products and contact information. The eStorefront also provides the link to launch the ePUMP-FLO program which selects pumps from your eCatalog. |
The following elements are present in
the eStorefronts:
-
Company logo
-
Company information
-
Product listing and description
-
Contact information, phone, fax, email, Website link
-
Graphic or link to launch your eCatalog
-
Two images of your choice
» Customer Lead Database - Automated Lead Generation
Providing online pump selection to your current and potential customers is an incredible service, but it does not directly increase revenue. You need detailed reports on who is selecting pumps from your eCatalog so you can follow-up on purchasing inquiries. In short, you need a tool to "harness those leads." |
Using ePUMP-FLO you have access (through a secure login) to all of your customer lead information that’s stored in a secured database. The lead information will include the customer's Name, Title, Company, Phone, Fax, and Email. |
How it Works
Each new user of the ePUMP-FLO software is required to register their user information. When a registered user selects pumps from your eCatalog, their information is passed to your secure leads database. This gives you all the information you need to further proceed with the sales process. |
» eCatalog
In order to work with the ePUMP-FLO program, your company must have all pump performance data converted to an ePUMP-FLO supported electronic format, known as the eCatalog. |
The eCatalog consists of all your pump performance data that currently exists in your company’s paper catalog. We can create and maintain your eCatalog, or provide you with the P-Library program (developed by Engineered Software) to do the job in-house. Once created, we host your eCatalog on our monitored servers. |
It’s easy to get started, just send us a copy of your current paper catalog. We will then provide you with a quotation for the creation of your eCatalog. |
» Catalog Online
The Catalog Online is a customization that includes any additional information that the manufacturer wants to display about their pumps, creating virtual catalog online. Examples may include data sheets, pump materials report, pump installation instructions, dimensional drawings, pump or component drawings or any additional material that may appear in the manufacturer’s paper catalog. |
Customers can access these additional documents at any time during the pump selection process. Once the desired pump has been selected, and the pump selection report has been generated, ePUMP-FLO searches the database to find the Catalog Online file for that specific pump. The buyer can then click on a link to view and print the pump data in a PDF format. |
With the Catalog Online web-base
technology your company will:
-
Reduce paper catalog distribution costs
-
Eliminate obsolete or outdated text in paper catalogs
-
Provide your customers with the information they need to make a
purchasing decision.
-
Maintain a competitive advantage by utilizing technology to better
serve your customers.

» Advanced Request For Quote
(RFQ) – Hot Leads
Customer service is always paramount. In fact, it is essential that companies respond immediately to each and every one of their needs and requests. |
Using ePUMP-FLO’s Hot Lead technology you can provide your customers with the capability to instantly submit an RFQ, complete with contact information and a detailed pump selection file. This saves the customer time from manually selecting pumps from your paper catalog and contacting you directly with purchasing inquiries. |
The ePUMP-FLO Hot Lead functionality gives you an incredible time saving tool by automatically pre-qualifying the serious buyers. Your selling priorities then shift from chasing warm leads to making sales. |
How it Works
Once buyers have completed the pump selection process, they will have the option to submit an Advanced RFQ – Hot Lead. The information is tagged in the secured database as a Hot Lead, and you are sent an email notifying you that a Hot Lead has been recorded in the lead database. The Hot Lead information is complete with all the customers contact information plus a file detailing their entire pump selection. You can then download the file and review it using the standard PUMP-FLO desktop version. |
Is your company planning to develop an online procurement solution? With ePUMP-FLO’s open architecture, Hot Lead information can tie directly into your company’s solution for a seamless electronic purchase. |
» Pre-Qualification Customer Database
We realize that it’s important to pre-qualify customers before they view your eCatalog. That’s why ePUMP-FLO offers an optional secure, pre-qualification customer database that we host. This advanced feature will allow your company to pre-qualify all first-time customers of your eCatalog for online pump selection, while maintaining all customer information on a secure database.
How it Works
We host a private database with all of your qualified customers. Each time a customer enters your eCatalog, the database checks to see if they have been given permission. If permission has been granted then the customer passes through into your eCatalog for online pump selection. However, if the customer has not been given permission, an email is sent to your company with all the customers contact information. Your company then reviews the customer’s information and concludes if access will be given. If permission is granted, the customer is sent an email notifying them that they now have full access to select pumps from your eCatalog. |
